Job Description : The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance Controller / Director with a background from a BPO/IT or related industry.The incumbent must be a qualified Cost Accountant or a Chartered Accountant with a sizeable stint in an organization of repute 14+ years of finance, accounting experience out of which at least ten years should be post qualification experience leading high powered teams with a demonstrated ability of running finance and shared services set up.

Reporting into the CEO in this business critical role the key accountabilities will be developing strong service level agreements with internal customers and clients and identifying where business changes will affect the accounting processes, playing a vital role in shaping a business strategy, providing vertical leadership and managing implementation of improved processes in finance and shared services, and ensuring compliance as per relevant norms.
To implement continuous financial audit and control systems to monitor the performance of Knowledge Services, its flow of funds, the adherence to the budget, the expenditures, the income, sales and other budgetary items.To timely, regularly and duly prepare and present to the corporate governance financial statements and reports as required by them from time to time.To prepare and present for the approval of the Board of Directors an annual budget, other budgets, financial plans, business plans.To collaborate and coordinate the activities of outside suppliers of financial services hired or contracted by Knowledge Services, including accountants, auditors, and financial consultants.Leading and influencing the management team to deliver and exceed business objectives.

Manage a high caliber team, providing leadership in financial decisions, tracking performance against plan related to Finance and shared services(IT, Quality, HR)Develop the strategic financial agenda and shape the planning process including key metrics to drive each business.Actively engage with external customers of the businesses, building relationships and leading commercial negotiations at a senior level.

Provide financial/ commercial advice to the Business Development team, to augment growth plans.
