Job Description

The position calls for an individual who believes in building a life long career as an authority in the area of financial research and analysis. Apart from core domain expertise required to deliver successful projects, the individual will need to groom a team that shares the organization’s vision. The individual will need to work closely with the company’s middle/top management in developing research/delivery capabilities aligned with the needs of our global clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of experience in business and economic research – coverage and detailed reports on industries, sectors, regions, companies and thematic articles

Experience in research across varied engagements across multiple industries, sectors and geographies (exposure to Middle East region will be a plus)

Experience with using information services like Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ

Experience with people management and leading a research team

Experience with client relationship management

ELIGIBILITY

MBA/MS with specialization in Finance with a good consistent academic record

Exceptional communication skills

Core subject matter expertise

Ability to synthesize financial, operational and economic information into a well-integrated insightful research piece covering an industry or a company

Financial modeling and Valuation (DCF, relative valuation, comparable company analysis, M&A modeling)

Synthesize economic, industry and company related factors into a well-integrated framework to drive holistic analysis

Build and institutionalize best practices/models/templates geared towards providing cutting edge research at par with the best in the world

Provide support to sales and marketing team on qualifying opportunities with detailed intelligence and research collateral

Drive insightful research articles that establish the organization’s thought leadership in the space
