Job Description :

Independently handling of direct tax matters consisting of Income taxes, Transfer Pricing, FBT, Wealth taxes and withholding taxes for all Group Companies .
Should be well versed & thorough with all the rules & regulations regards all Taxation as per the Indian Taxation laws.
Will be responsible for all taxation related matters of the Group companies.

• To ensure all taxation rules are followed & implemented in a proper manner, as per the necessary
• regulations.
• To ensure that all taxes are paid to the competent authorities on or before the due dates.
• To liase with the authorities for any matters related to taxation.
• To ensure all tax related books are maintained as required by the law.
• To ensure all tax returns are filed on time & all rules are adhered to.

Desired Profile :

• Candidate having 10-15 yrs of experience in Direct and Indirect taxation.
• Should have good working knowledge of EDU and SEZ
• Should have working knowledge of Double taxation agreements

Job Description:
To develop and implement policies and processes which ensure effective tax planning and management for the organisation
Desired Profile  Planning and Strategising,
Develop long-term and short term taxation strategies for the corporation.
Provide inputs on corporate taxation (both national and international) that aid management decision making. Analyse the taxation aspects of any agreements made by the company with third parties and advise managers accordingly. Inform management of changes in tax policies and procedures affecting corporate tax position
Policy and Process Design, Implementation and Review:
Oversee and be responsible for the timely payment of taxation and filing of returns. Oversee the tax return filing and tax payment process as well as the financial reporting process that pertains to tax.
Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the effective and optimal planning and management of the company’s tax liabilities.
Identify opportunities in the area of fiscal benefits.
Estimate the company’s tax liability and advise accounts staff to ensure that adequate provision is made in company accounts.
Obtain taxation reports from plant finance teams to ensure that all tax compliances are being followed at various plants.
Supervise tax calculation post audit, guide revised tax calculations, execute filing of returns and provide clarifications to queries raised by tax authorities.
Ensure that all activities related to tax adhere to high ethical standards and are in the best interests of the corporation.
Ensure that the taxation MIS is complete and regularly presented to management.

Coordination and Interface:Liaise with business heads to evaluate impact of taxation on business decisions and ensure that taxation procedures and requirements are being met.
Liaise with government bodies and institutions to clarify tax payment queries and provide information as and when required.
Coordinate with financial operations to ensure that the tax payments are being made on time.

Manage performance of the Taxation team, support capability building and ensure that individual/ team morale and motivation is positive
