Job Description

Looking for Assistant Manager – PT (Property Tax – US Taxation).
Profile:
* Process Knowledge – Acquire working knowledge of assigned application(s), AutomateTax/AtlasTax/eTax in OneSourceā„¢ Property Tax Software
* Feedback Process – Take responsibility for the monthly feedback process and ensure it is conducted efficiently and timely. Conduct monthly feedback meetings for your direct reports and participate in feedbacks discussions conducted by them
* Attrition – Manage attrition by identifying people issues and providing probable solutions in a timely fashion. Provide monthly data to update Employee Feedback System for HR purposes. (Attrition percentage at TRTA level will be defined and set as a goal to manage within, for each AM)
* Conflict resolution – Identify and resolve conflicts
* Appraisal Process – Provide support with the year end appraisal process
* Recruiting activities – Conduct interviews and help with recruitment process
* Process metrics – Provide productivity metrics for your process and present in monthly operations meet
* Committees – Take responsibility for Committees assigned to you and run regular meetings
* R&R process – Participate and facilitate the monthly Rewards and Recognition process
Responsibilities:
* Quality review – Perform high level quality review and drive quality initiatives
* Communication – Establish relationship with designated US contacts and communicate periodically, along with your Manager. Participate in weekly meetings with designated US contacts and provide updates on work status
* Team Meetings – Conduct daily de-brief meeting with the team and facilitate resource planning
* Other tasks assigned – Complete tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed
* Leave/Overtime Process – Manage the Leave and Overtime tracking process via Folklore and any other tool available
* Administrative tasks – Work on any administrative tasks assigned and escalate any Transport/IT/Admin issues to the appropriate source.

Academic Background:
Masters or Bachelors Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 1 years of experience as a Assistant Manager
* Should have experience handling a minimum team size of 25 to 30 individuals (Direct Reporting)
* Good communication skills – Written and spoken fluency in English
* Should have experience interacting with US personnel over the phone and e-mail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access applications and working knowledge of other MS office packages is a must.
* Ability to analyze data and organize as per requirement
* Must have experience providing feedback to individuals
* Experience handling administrative tasks like data gathering, technology setup, liaison with support staff etc.
Desired Skills:
* Interest or knowledge of Taxation would be beneficial
* Good presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Attention to detail
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and stress situations.
