Job Description:
The position will report into the India Taxation Director and will be based out of our Bangalore Office. This position will have the general responsibility of the following areas:
• Provide support in all tax compliance matters, which includes the preparation of income tax provisions for statutory audited accounts.
• Prepare & finalize the tax computations / returns for the Dell entity(s) in India for filing with the respective tax authorities.
• Provide transfer price support in the area of transfer price documentation
• Assist in tax advisory support to the rest of the functions / departments in the company.
• Assist in the periodic tax queries, audits and health-checks by providing support to accounting / compliance team in managing audits of sales tax returns, show cause notices issued by various tax authorities.
• Responsible for management reporting on tax matters – Tax provision templates for audit consolidation in US, Tax Reserve Adequacy, Transfer Price Setting & Monitoring etc.
• Chartered Accountant with at least 7-12 years of post qualification tax experience (direct and indirect taxation) in reputed CA firms / big MNC companies in India.
• Sound knowledge and practical work experience of accounting and audits.
• Sound knowledge of MS excel, Oracle and other IT applications
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Flexibility to do occasional domestic travels
• Effective interpersonal skills with friendly disposition

Desired Candidate Profile:Expertise in Direct and Indirect Taxation Operations – preferably with a Consultancy or a Corporate role.
