Oracle looking for Financial Analyst/Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description Responsible for:
. Management reporting on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
. Expense forecasting – it suggests expense forecast to the country based finance management.
. Variance Analysis – actuals v/s forecast v/s budget.
. Adhoc analysis – non-standard, urgent request of financial information.
. Annual Budgeting.
The F&A function caters to the following regions: Europe, Americas or Asia Pacific. May have to directly interact with the Oracle management (Finance/Sales VP) of any of these countries, hence should possess very good communication skills.
Involves high usage of Oracle’s Business Intelligence tools to analyse data, identify trends and input financial information.

Oracle Global Financial Information Center (GFIC) is a captive BPO based in Bangalore. FP&A – Financial Planning and Analysis group remotely provides services for Oracle’s in-country operations across the world. The services provided are:
. Management reporting on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.

. Variance Analysis – actuals v/s forecast v/s budget.
. Adhoc analysis – non-standard, urgent request of financial information.

GFIC plays a key role in streamlining Oracle’s financial and accounting operations around the world. Bangalore center is unique in providing back-office services to all Oracle subsidiaries.
Position: Financial Analyst/Sr. Financial Analyst
Location : Bangalore
Requirement:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience. OR
* Qualified Cost Accountant with a minimum of 1 yr post qualification experience. OR
* MBA/CA Inter/ CWA Inter with a minimum of 2 yrs post qualification experience
* Prior experience in forecasting/budgeting & MIS reporting is mandatory.
* Adept in MS Excel. Working knowledge is a MUST.
* Possess good communication skills.
