Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for efficient management of the Company’s financial resources and ensuring safe custody & utilization of organizational assets. The position also needs to ensure a true and fair reporting of Company’s financial performance. In addition, the position is responsible for commercial and legal aspects of the business.
• Mobilisation & management of funds for capital expenditure/ operations.
• Banking arrangements & coordination with financial institutions.
• Ensure maintenance of all books of accounts related to financial transactions of the Company.
• Manage receivables and payables.
• Finalise Accounts and facilitate audit.
• Co-ordinate submission of all accounts related information/ MIS to the Chief Executive/ Head Office in Singapore.
• Ensure that all statutory obligations are met with respect to income tax, sales tax , customs duties and related laws and other Government stipulations.
3. Budgeting/ Costing & MIS
• Coordinate preparation of Annual Budgets and Rolling Business plans
• Submit MIS Reports.
• Install and maintain Internal Controls and Checks.
• Filing of statutory reports.
Desired Profile
• Chartered Accountant/ CPA/ MBA – Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of all financial, accounting, costing, legal, direct and indirect taxation matters.
• Exposure to Import procedures/ processes/ documentation etc.
• Inter-personal skills.
• Effective communication skills and cost consciousness.
