Job Description:
As a Business Analyst – Quality, you will be part of the Product Delivery Group and will be responsible for the testing activities for the HedgeRx web-based application. You would have a strong desire to contribute to the Product Delivery Group as a whole and, in particular, its Quality Assurance Team.
Your primary role will be to interpret and design System-wide test plans and test cases suite and execute them.You would be required to understand the functionality and enhancements of the product and work closely with the Business Analysis and Development Team to ensure that functional specification are tested and fulfilled.
You may also be asked to work as part of BA team to collect and understand business requirements and translate them into functional specification documents, use cases etc.
You will participate in functional, performance, User Acceptance, Regression, and black box testing during product releases. You will be responsible for analyzing and attributing breaks in regression testing. You will be performing impact analysis and also contribute to impact documentation for distribution to interested clients.
You will work with the Client Solutions Team to reproduce issues reported by the clients and help resolve, working with Business Analysis and Development team.
You will be responsible for identifying and tracking problems/defects throughout the life cycle of product.
You will be responsible for logging all the defects in the Defect Tracking System and tracking them to closure.
Desired Candidate Profile:
You would be CA or a full time MBA/PGDM with specialization in Finance from a reputed Institute.
You would have 1 to 4 yrs of experience as Quality Analyst or Business Analyst in an IT Product/Services company, performing Quality and/or Business Analysis role for a Financial application.
You should have experience in Manual Testing and well versed with functional, performance, User Acceptance, Regression, and black box testing.
Knowledge of structured Analysis Tools and approach (like UML, use cases) will be an added advantage.
You should have excellent exposure and educational background in financial domain. Knowledge of various derivatives products like Options, Swaps, Forwards, etc. for Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange or Commodity products is desirable.
You should have expertise in Excel (macros & VBA), Visio and MS Office Suite.
You should have Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving and Communication Skills and be a team player and have exposure to working with International teams.
You should be a self-starter; focused and driven to succeed; result orientated. organized and disciplined with ability to manage expectations.
You would be an experienced professional working in an IT Product/Service company or a Bank performing the Quality and/or Business Analysis role.
