Company Profile:Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd. with a turnover of Rs.3000 crores is one of the largest producer of Cold Rolled Steel products having state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at Sahibabad (U.P.) near Delhi & Khopoli (Maharashtra) near Mumbai. As part of backward integration, we are setting up a large Integrated Steel Plant with a Project cost of 6000 crores to produce 2.5 million tones of Hot Rolled Steel Coils and 0.5 million tones of long products in the first phase in Orissa.
The facility will comprise of 10 Nos. of DRI Kilns of 500 TPD, 1680 m3 BF of Daneili Corus, 190T Twin Shell Electric Arc Furnace, 1750mm wide Slab Caster and 1750mm wide convention Hot Strip Mill, all from SMS Demag. The construction activity has already started in January 2005. The first phase of the project will be completed by June 2008.
