Job Description
JOB SCOPE:
(1) To help Director-Finance in ascertaining control weakness and suggest corresponding improvement required in areas of financial accounting, reporting process, costing process etc.
(2) To implement/help Director-Finance to implement, the action plan(s) for improvements in order of priority.
(3) To scrutinize fund and cash position of the organisation and implement effective cash management.
(4) To ensure all transaction control processes and systems in line with Liquid Control Group/overall IDEX accepted policies.
(5) To help Director-Finance to implement a robust costing process to ascertain the shelf cost of each product line for pricing effectiveness.
(6) To ensure internal controls per IDEX accepted procedure and to ensure removal of all pending points of Internal, Statutory and Group Audit. Also to effectively liaise with all the audit teams to ensure a smooth auditing environment.
(7) To upgrade the month end corporate reporting process to generate all the relevant MISs within 4/5 working days from the month end and send correct reports to corporate in appropriate templates.
(8) To help generate need based critical MISs for decision support of MD- Liquid Controls India Pvt Ltd.
(9) To ensure all legal and commercial compliance of various fiscal Statutes in India.
(10) To effectively liaise with sales for ensuring adequate collection of outstanding dues from customers and ensure AR within IDEX/Liquid Controls Group specified norms. To ensure proper provision in books ag bad and doubtful debts.
(11) To work with the works/factory management for instituting a proper process for vendor management and payment.
(12) To collaborate with works/factory management team and Business Units for ensuring proper inventory control and periodic control on physical inventory by proper counting and ensuring adequate provisioning on inventories in line with LC Control Group/IDEX policies.

(1) Man management skills and capable of dealing with senior persons with assertiveness.
(2) Team player- this is quite important since the job scope requires the person to be capable enough to extract maximum out of his team.
(3) Confident to take hard decisions in consultation with Director Finance and Managing director, LC India.
(4) Capabilities to work under pressure and adjust to corporate reporting timeline and requirements.
(5) Effective communication skills- has to be fluent in both written and oral English skills.
(6) Willing to travel on short notice based on requirements and needs.
(7) A person of high integrity and ethics and must be honest and sincere. Should have the capability to adhere to corporate norms on ethics, anti trust and disclosure of vital information.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Industry experience:- at least 5-7 years, out of which at least last 2/3 years in the capacity of leading a team of 4/5 people. The preference will of candidates from manufacturing/process based engineering industry. US MNC background ideal. Sound back ground of costing system and adequate awareness of Sarbanes Oxley Act and compliances essential. Knowledge of financing activities and mergers and acquisitions will be advantageous but not essential.

Qualification:- In addition to Bachelor/Master of Commerce, a membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is needed. Also additional membership of Institute of Costs &Works Accountants of India will be advantageous.
